(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، أَنَّ امْرَأَةً أَتَتْ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَسْأَلُهُ شَيْئًا ، فَقَالَ لَهَا : " ارْجِعِي إِلَيَّ " ، فَقَالَتْ : فَإِنْ رَجَعْتُ فَلَمْ أَجِدْكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ تُعَرِّضُ بِالْمَوْتِ ، فَقَالَ لَهَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " فَإِنْ رَجَعْتِ فَلَمْ تَجِدِينِي فَالْقَيْ أَبَا بَكْرٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jubair bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) that once a woman came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and spoke to him about some matter. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) gave her a reply. She said, "O Messenger of Allah! Tell me, if I do not find you, then what should I do?" The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "If you do not find me, then go to Abu Bakr."
