(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ بَعْضَ إِخْوَتِي ، عَنْ أَبِي ، عَنْ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ ، أَنَّهُ أَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي فِدَى بَدْرٍ ، قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ : فِي فِدَى الْمُشْرِكِينَ وَمَا أَسْلَمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ ، فَدَخَلْتُ الْمَسْجِدَ وَرَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " يُصَلِّي الْمَغْرِبَ ، فَقَرَأَ بِالطُّورِ " ، فَكَأَنَّمَا صُدِعَ عَنْ قَلْبِي حِينَ سَمِعْتُ الْقُرْآنَ ، قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ : فَكَأَنَّمَا صُدِعَ قَلْبِي حَيْثُ سَمِعْتُ الْقُرْآنَ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jubair bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) regarding the ransom of the captives of the Battle of Badr. Until that time, he had not accepted Islam. He says: I entered the Prophet's Mosque while the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was leading the Maghrib prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) began reciting Surah At-Tur. When the sound of the Qur'an reached my ears, my heart began to tremble.
