(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي ، عَنِ ابْنِ إِسْحَاقَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَزْمٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي سُلَيْمَانَ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ نَافِعِ بْنِ جُبَيْرِ بْنِ مُطْعِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ جُبَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : " رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَنْزِلَ عَلَيْهِ ، وَإِنَّهُ لَوَاقِفٌ عَلَى بَعِيرٍ لَهُ بِعَرَفَاتٍ مَعَ النَّاسِ حَتَّى يَدْفَعَ مَعَهُمْ مِنْهَا تَوْفِيقًا مِنَ اللَّهِ لَهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jubair bin Mut’im (may Allah be pleased with him) that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) before the time of the descent of revelation; he was standing with the people at Arafat on his camel and was returning with them. This too was by the grace of Allah.
