(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ، عَنْ ضَمْضَمِ بْنِ زُرْعَةَ ، عَنْ شُرَيْحِ بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ , يَرُدُّهُ إِلَى مَالِكِ بْنِ يَخَامِرَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ السَّعْدِيِّ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " لَا تَنْقَطِعُ الْهِجْرَةُ مَا دَامَ الْعَدُوُّ يُقَاتَلُ " . رقم الحديث: 1604 (حديث موقوف) (حديث مرفوع) فَقَالَ مُعَاوِيَةُ ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَوْفٍ ، وَعَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ ، إِنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , قَالَ : " إِنَّ الْهِجْرَةَ خَصْلَتَانِ إِحْدَاهُمَا ، أَنْ تَهْجُرَ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَالْأُخْرَى ، أَنْ تُهَاجِرَ إِلَى اللَّهِ وَرَسُولِهِ ، وَلَا تَنْقَطِعُ الْهِجْرَةُ مَا تُقُبِّلَتْ التَّوْبَةُ ، وَلَا تَزَالُ التَّوْبَةُ مَقْبُولَةً ، حَتَّى تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ مِنَ الْمَغْرِبِ ، فَإِذَا طَلَعَتْ ، طُبِعَ عَلَى كُلِّ قَلْبٍ بِمَا فِيهِ ، وَكُفِيَ النَّاسُ الْعَمَلَ " .
Ibn Sa'di says that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Hijrah does not end until the enemy fights." Sayyiduna Amir Muawiyah, Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman bin Awf, and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) say that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are two types of hijrah: one is hijrah from sins, and the other is hijrah towards Allah and His Messenger. And hijrah will not end as long as repentance continues to be accepted, and repentance will continue to be accepted as long as the sun does not rise from the west. And when the sun rises from the west, a seal will be set upon every heart and people's deeds will suffice for them (meaning at that time no deed will be of benefit nor will there be any need for it)."
