(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا رَبِيعَةُ بْنُ كُلْثُومٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ أَبِي غَادِيَةَ الْجُهَنِيِّ ، قَالَ : خَطَبَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَ الْعَقَبَةِ فَقَالَ : " يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ ، إِنَّ دِمَاءَكُمْ وَأَمْوَالَكُمْ عَلَيْكُمْ حَرَامٌ إِلَى أَنْ تَلْقَوْا رَبَّكُمْ كَحُرْمَةِ يَوْمِكُمْ هَذَا ، فِي بَلَدِكُمْ هَذَا ، فِي شَهْرِكُمْ هَذَا ، أَلَا هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ ؟ " ، قَالُوا : نَعَمْ ، قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ هَلْ بَلَّغْتُ ؟ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Ghadiyah Juhani that on the Day of Aqabah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed us and said: O people! Until the Day of Resurrection, your lives and wealth are made unlawful for one another, just as the sanctity of this day is in this month and in this city. Have I conveyed the message of Allah? The people affirmed it. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah, bear witness. Beware! Do not turn into disbelievers after me, striking the necks of one another. Have I conveyed the message of Allah?
