(حديث مرفوع) قال عَبْد اللَّهِ بن أحمد : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ ، أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِحِمَارِ وَحْشٍ ، فَرَدَّهُ عَلَيْهِ ، وَقَالَ : " إِنَّا حُرُمٌ لَا نَأْكُلُ الصَّيْدَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'b bin Jathamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, at the place of Waddan, wild donkey meat was presented to you as a gift, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned it and said: We are in the state of Ihram; we cannot eat game.
