(حديث مرفوع) قال عَبْد اللَّهِ بن أحمد : قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ ، قَالَ : أُوتِيَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِوَدَّانَ بِحِمَارِ وَحْشٍ فَرَدَّهُ ، وَقَالَ : " إِنَّا حُرُمٌ لَا نَأْكُلُ الصَّيْدَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'b bin Jathamah رضي الله عنه that once, at the place of Waddan, wild donkey meat was presented to you as a gift, but the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم returned it and said: We are in the state of Ihram, we cannot eat game.
