(حديث مرفوع) قال عَبْد اللَّهِ بن أحمد : حَدَّثَنِي مُصْعَبٌ هُوَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَيَّاشٍ الْمَخْزُومِيُّ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُتْبَةَ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ اللَّيْثِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ حَمَى النَّقِيعَ ، وَقَالَ : " لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'b (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) declared Naqi' a prohibited area and said: It is not permissible for anyone except Allah and His Messenger to declare any area as a prohibited area.
