(حديث مرفوع) قال عَبْد اللَّهِ بن أحمد : قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو خَيْثَمَةَ زُهَيْرُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ ، قَالَ : مَرَّ بِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَنَا بِالْأَبْوَاءِ ، أَوْ بِوَدَّانَ ، فَأَهْدَيْتُ لَهُ لَحْمَ حِمَارِ وَحْشٍ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ ، فَرَدَّهُ عَلَيَّ ، فَلَمَّا رَأَى فِي وَجْهِي الْكَرَاهِيَةَ ، قَالَ : " لَيْسَ بِنَا رَدٌّ عَلَيْكَ ، وَلَكِنَّا حُرُمٌ " . (حديث موقوف) (حديث مرفوع) قَالَ : وَسَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ : " لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ " . (حديث موقوف) (حديث مرفوع) قَالَ : وَسُئِلَ عَنْ أَهْلِ الدَّارِ مِنَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ يُبَيَّتُونَ ، فَيُصَابُ مِنْ نِسَائِهِمْ وَذَرَارِيِّهِمْ ، قَالَ : " هُمْ مِنْهُمْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'b bin Jathamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by me while I was at the place of Abwa or Waddan. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was in the state of Ihram. I presented him with the meat of a wild donkey as a gift, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned it to me. When he saw signs of sadness on my face, he said: "There is no reason for returning it except that we are in the state of Ihram." And I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "It is not permissible for anyone except Allah and His Messenger to declare any area as a sanctuary." And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the families of those polytheists upon whom a night raid is carried out, and during which their women and children are also killed. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "They (the women and children) are also among the polytheists (so they will be counted among the polytheists)."
