(حديث مرفوع) قال عَبْد اللَّهِ بن أحمد : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَهُوَ الْمُقَدَّمِيّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ ، عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ، عَنِ الصَّعْبِ بْنِ جَثَّامَةَ ، أَنَّهُ أَهْدَى لِرَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ لَحْمَ صَيْدٍ فَلَمْ يَقْبَلْهُ ، فَرَأَى ذَلِكَ فِي وَجْهِ الصَّعْبِ ، فَقَالَ : " إِنَّهُ لَمْ يَمْنَعْنَا أَنْ نَقْبَلَ مِنْكَ إِلَّا أَنَّا كُنَّا حُرُمًا " . (حديث موقوف) (حديث مرفوع) قَالَ : وَسُئِلَ عَنِ الْخَيْلِ يُوطِئُونَهَا أَوْلَادَ الْمُشْرِكِينَ بِاللَّيْلِ ، فَقَالَ : " هُمْ يَعْنِي مِنْ آبَائِهِمْ " . (حديث موقوف) (حديث مرفوع) وَقَالَ : " لَا حِمَى إِلَّا لِلَّهِ وَلِرَسُولِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'b bin Jathamah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I presented the meat of a wild donkey as a gift to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned it to me. When he saw signs of sadness on my face, he said: There is no reason for returning it except that we are in the state of Ihram. And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the families of those polytheists upon whom a night raid is carried out, and during that time their women and children are also killed? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: They (the women and children) are also among the polytheists (therefore, they will be counted among the polytheists). And the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: It is not permissible for anyone except Allah and His Messenger to declare any area as a sanctuary.
