(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا يَعْلَى بْنُ الْحَارِثِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا إِيَاسُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ ، وَأَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي إِيَاسُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : " كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ الْجُمُعَةَ ، ثُمَّ نَرْجِعُ وَمَا لِلْحِيطَانِ فَيْءٌ يُسْتَظَلُّ بِهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that we used to perform the Friday prayer with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then we would return at such a time that we could not find even so much shade in the gardens that a person could benefit from it.
