(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، عَنْ زُهَيْرٍ ، وَحَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي بُكَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ خُصَيْفَةَ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْأَكْوَعِ ، قَالَ : " كُنْتُ أُسَافِرُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَمَا رَأَيْتُهُ صَلَّى بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ ، وَلَا بَعْدَ الصُّبْحِ قَطُّ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salamah bin Akwa’ (may Allah be pleased with him) that I used to travel with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and I never saw him offering voluntary prayers after the ‘Asr or Fajr prayers.
