It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) went out to pray Salat al-Istisqa (prayer for rain). On that occasion, he turned his cloak while facing the Qiblah and led two rak'ahs with loud recitation.
