(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ سَأَلَ وَلَهُ أُوقِيَّةٌ أَوْ عَدْلُهَا ، فَقَدْ سَأَلَ إِلْحَافًا " .
It is narrated from a companion of Banu Asad that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever possesses one uqiyah of silver or its equivalent, yet still begs from others, has asked while wrapped in a blanket.
