(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَبِي ، وَقَدْ كَانَ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، " فَمَسَحَ رَأْسَهُ ، وَاسْتَغْفَرَ لَهُ " .
Abu Ayas narrates from his father that he met the Prophet (peace be upon him). The Prophet (peace be upon him) supplicated for his forgiveness and passed his hand over his head.
