حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ ، عَنْ شُعْبَةَ ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ ، قَالَ : كَانَ أَبِي حَدَّثَنَا ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَلَا أَدْرِي أَسَمِعَهُ مِنْهُ أَوْ حُدِّثَ عَنْهُ ؟ .
Sulaiman narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Mu'awiyah, who said: My father narrated to us from the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, but I do not know whether he heard it from him directly or it was narrated to him from him.
