(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ سِيرِينَ ، عَنْ سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الضَّبِّيِّ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَعَ الْغُلَامِ عَقِيقَتُهُ ، فَأَهْرِيقُوا عَنْهُ الدَّمَ ، وَأَمِيطُوا عَنْهُ الْأَذَى " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salman that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: Perform 'aqiqah on the birth of a boy, remove impurities from him, and sacrifice an animal on his behalf.
