(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا
يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا
هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ
حَفْصَةَ ، عَنْ
سَلْمَانَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، يَقُولُ : " الصَّدَقَةُ عَلَى الْمِسْكِينِ صَدَقَةٌ ، وَالصَّدَقَةُ عَلَى ذِي الرَّحِمِ اثْنَتَانِ صَدَقَةٌ وَصِلَةٌ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salman that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Spending on a poor person is a single charity, and giving charity to close relatives has a double reward—one for charity and the other for maintaining family ties.
