(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ زَمْعَةَ ، قَالَ : خَطَبَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَذَكَرَ النَّاقَةَ ، وَذَكَرَ الَّذِي عَقَرَهَا ، فَقَالَ : " إِذِ انْبَعَثَ أَشْقَاهَا سورة الشمس آية 12 انْبَعَثَ لَهَا رَجُلٌ عَارِمٌ عَزِيزٌ مَنِيعٌ فِي رَهْطِهِ مِثْلُ أَبِي زَمْعَةَ " ، ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ النِّسَاءَ ، فَوَعَظَهُمْ فِيهِنَّ ، فَقَالَ : " عَلَامَ يَجْلِدُ أَحَدُكُمْ امْرَأَتَهُ جَلْدَ الْعَبْدِ ، وَلَعَلَّهُ يُضَاجِعُهَا مِنْ آخِرِ يَوْمِهِ ؟ " ، ثُمَّ وَعَظَهُمْ فِي ضَحِكِهِمْ مِنَ الضَّرْطَةِ ، فَقَالَ " عَلَامَ يَضْحَكُ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى مَا يَفْعَلُ ؟ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Zam’ah that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), in the explanation of "اذ انبعث اشقہا", said that a mischievous man, who held importance and respect among his people, set out to cut the legs of Allah’s she-camel, just as Abu Zam’ah holds a position among his people. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade laughing at someone passing wind, saying: Why do you laugh at something which you yourselves do? Then he said: Why does one of you beat his wife like a slave? It may be that at the end of the day he will have intercourse with her.
