(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي النُّعْمَانُ بْنُ سَالِمٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَمْرَو بْنَ أَوْسٍ يُحَدِّثُ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ الْحَجَّ وَالْعُمْرَةَ وَلَا الظَّعْنَ ؟ قَالَ : " حُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ وَاعْتَمِرْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Razin that once I presented myself before the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and said: My father has become extremely old and weak, he does not have the strength for Hajj or Umrah, nor does he have any desire for women. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Then you perform Hajj and Umrah on his behalf.
