(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَوْسٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَزِينٍ الْعُقَيْلِيِّ أَنَّهُ أَتَى النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَقَالَ : إِنَّ أَبِي شَيْخٌ كَبِيرٌ لَا يَسْتَطِيعُ الْحَجَّ وَلَا الْعُمْرَةَ وَلَا الظَّعْنَ . قَالَ : " حُجَّ عَنْ أَبِيكَ وَاعْتَمِرْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Razin Uqayli that he once presented himself before the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: "My father is an extremely old man; he does not have the strength for Hajj or Umrah, nor does he have any desire for women." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Then you perform Hajj and Umrah on his behalf."
