(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، أَنْبَأَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ عُبَيْدٍ الْبَهْرَانِيِّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، قَالَ : وَكَانَ يَتَوَضَّأُ بِالزَّاوِيَةِ " فَخَرَجَ عَلَيْنَا ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ مِنَ الْبَرَازِ ، فَتَوَضَّأَ ، وَمَسَحَ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ ، فَتَعَجَّبْنَا وَقُلْنَا مَا هَذَا ؟ قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، أَنَّهُ رَأَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَعَلَ مِثْلَ مَا فَعَلْتُ " .
Yahya bin Ubaid says that Muhammad bin Sa’d once came out of the toilet before us and began to perform ablution. During ablution, he wiped over his leather socks. We were surprised at this and asked: What is this? He said that my father narrated to me that he saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) doing the same.
