Hadith 16087

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umm Sulayman bin Ahwas that I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on the day of the tenth of Dhul-Hijjah, throwing pebbles at Jamrat al-Aqabah from the bottom of the valley. At that time, he was saying: "O people, do not kill one another, do not harm one another, and when you perform the stoning of the Jamarat, use pebbles of clay for it." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) threw seven pebbles and did not stop there. Behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was a man who was acting as a shield for him. I asked the people, "Who is this?" The people replied, "This is Fadl bin Abbas."
