(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ رَبِّهِ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، عَنْ وَحْشِيِّ بْنِ حَرْبٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : إِنَّا نَأْكُلُ وَمَا نَشْبَعُ ! قَالَ : " فَلَعَلَّكُمْ تَأْكُلُونَ مُفْتَرِقِينَ ، اجْتَمِعُوا عَلَى طَعَامِكُمْ ، وَاذْكُرُوا اسْمَ اللَّهِ تَعَالَى عَلَيْهِ ، يُبَارَكْ لَكُمْ فِيهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Wahshi bin Harb that a person submitted in the court of the Messenger: "We eat food but do not feel satisfied." The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Perhaps you eat separately. Eat together and mention the name of Allah when you eat, there will be blessing in it."
