(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ كَعْبِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ وَهُوَ أَحَدُ الثَّلَاثَةِ الَّذِينَ تِيبَ عَلَيْهِمْ ، أَنَّهُ أَخْبَرَهُ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ خَرَجَ يَوْمًا عَاصِبًا رَأْسَهُ ، فَقَالَ فِي خُطْبَتِهِ : " أَمَّا بَعْدُ ، يَا مَعْشَرَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ ، فَإِنَّكُمْ قَدْ أَصْبَحْتُمْ تَزِيدُونَ ، وَأَصْبَحَتْ الْأَنْصَارُ لَا تَزِيدُ عَلَى هَيْئَتِهَا الَّتِي هِيَ عَلَيْهَا الْيَوْمَ ، وَإِنَّ الْأَنْصَارَ عَيْبَتِي الَّتِي أَوَيْتُ إِلَيْهَا ، فَأَكْرِمُوا كَرِيمَهُمْ ، وَتَجَاوَزُوا عَنْ مُسِيئِهِمْ " .
It is narrated from a Companion that one day the Prophet (peace be upon him) came out with a bandage tied on his blessed head and, after saying "Amma ba'd" in the sermon, said: O group of Muhajireen, your numbers are increasing day by day, while the condition of the Ansar today will not go beyond this. The Ansar are my confidants, wherever I have found refuge. Therefore, respect their nobles and pardon their wrongdoers.
