(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ الْغَسِيلِ ، عَنْ عَبَّاسِ بْنِ سَهْلٍ ، أَو حَمْزَةَ بْنِ أَبِي أُسَيْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا الْتَقَيْنَا نَحْنُ وَالْقَوْمُ يَوْمَ بَدْرٍ ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَوْمَئِذٍ لَنَا : " إِذَا أَكْثَبُوكُمْ يَعْنِي غَشُوكُمْ ، فَارْمُوهُمْ بِالنَّبْلِ " . وَأُرَاهُ قَالَ : " وَاسْتَبْقُوا نَبْلَكُمْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Usaid that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to us on the day when we confronted our enemy in the field of Badr: "When they attack you, shower them with arrows." He also probably said: "Outstrip them with your fruits."
