(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ يَعْنِي الْمَخْرَمِيَّ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْهَادِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرِ بْنِ حَزْمٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ أُنَيْسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ لَهُمْ ، وَسَأَلُوهُ عَنْ لَيْلَةٍ يَتَرَاءَوْنَهَا فِي رَمَضَانَ ، قَالَ : " لَيْلَةُ ثَلَاثٍ وَعِشْرِينَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Unais that the companions asked the Prophet (peace be upon him) about which night to consider as Laylat al-Qadr in the month of Ramadan. The Prophet (peace be upon him) replied: The 23rd night.
