(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ أَعَانَ مُجَاهِدًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ، أَوْ مُكَاتَبًا فِي رَقَبَتِهِ ، أَظَلَّهُ اللَّهُ يَوْمَ لَا ظِلَّ إِلَّا ظِلُّهُ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever supports a warrior in the path of Allah or helps in freeing a slave with a contract of emancipation, Allah will grant him a place under His Throne's shade on the Day when there will be no shade except His.
