(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ الْمُهَاجِرِ ، عَنْ أَبِي بَكْرٍ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَفْصٍ ، فَذَكَرَ قِصَّةً ، قَالَ سَعْدٌ : إِنِّي سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , يَقُولُ : " نِعْمَ الْمِيتَةُ ، أَنْ يَمُوتَ الرَّجُلُ دُونَ حَقِّهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) that I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "The best death is that a person dies for the sake of the truth."
