(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ ، قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا الْعَوَّامُ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ ، عَنْ يُسَيْرِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَتِيهُ قَوْمٍ قِبَلَ الْمَشْرِقِ مُحَلَّقَةٌ رُءُوسُهُمْ " , وَسُئِلَ عَنِ الْمَدِينَةِ ، فَقَالَ : " حَرَامٌ آمِنًا ، حَرَامٌ آمِنًا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sahl bin Hunaif that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: A people will come from the east who will wander astray and their heads will be shaved. Someone asked about Madinah Munawwarah, so he said: It is a sanctuary and a place of safety and security.
