(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي عَدِيٍّ ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ أَبِي هِنْدٍ ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ عَلْقَمَةَ ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ الْجُعْفِيِّ ، قَالَ : انْطَلَقْتُ أَنَا وَأَخِي إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : قُلْنَا : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، إِنَّ أُمَّنَا مُلَيْكَةَ كَانَتْ تَصِلُ الرَّحِمَ ، وَتَقْرِي الضَّيْفَ ، وَتَفْعَلُ وَتَفْعَلُ ، هَلَكَتْ فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ، فَهَلْ ذَلِكَ نَافِعُهَا شَيْئًا ؟ قَالَ : " لَا " , قَالَ : قُلْنَا : فَإِنَّهَا كَانَتْ وَأَدَتْ أُخْتًا لَنَا فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ ، فَهَلْ ذَلِكَ نَافِعُهَا شَيْئًا ؟ قَالَ : " الْوَائِدَةُ وَالْمَوْءُودَةُ فِي النَّارِ إِلَّا أَنْ تُدْرِكَ الْوَائِدَةُ الْإِسْلَامَ ، فَيَعْفُوَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Salamah bin Yazid that once I came to the service of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with my brother. We said: O Messenger of Allah! Our mother Malika used to maintain ties of kinship, host guests, and do such and such good deeds. She has passed away in the time of ignorance. Will all these deeds benefit her? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: No. We asked: She had buried one of our sisters alive in the time of ignorance; will that also be connected to her? The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Both the one who buried alive and the one who was buried alive will be in Hell, except if the one who was buried alive attains Islam and Allah forgives her.
