(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أَحْمَدَ الزُّبَيْرِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ النُّعْمَانِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ ، وَكَانَ قَدْ أَدْرَكَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " اكْتَحِلُوا بِالْإِثْمِدِ الْمُرَوَّحِ ، فَإِنَّهُ يَجْلُو الْبَصَرَ ، وَيُنْبِتُ الشَّعْرَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ma'bad bin Huwzah, who met the Prophet (peace be upon him), that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Apply the cool antimony called Ithmid, for it sharpens the eyesight and causes the eyelashes to grow.
