حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ قَالَ : أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْأَحْوَصِ الْجُشَمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ : رَآنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَعَلَيَّ أَطْمَارُ، فَقَالَ: «هَلْ لَكَ مَالٌ؟» قُلْتُ : نَعَمْ. قَالَ: «مِنْ أَيِّ الْمَالِ؟» قُلْتُ : مِنْ كُلِّ الْمَالِ قَدْ آتَانِيَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ مِنَ الشَّاءِ وَالْإِبِلِ. قَالَ: «فَلْتُرَ نِعَمُ اللَّهِ وَكَرَامَتُهُ عَلَيْكَ فَذَكَرَ نَحْوَ حَدِيثِ شُعْبَةَ. It is narrated from Sayyiduna Malik bin Nadlah that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw me in a disheveled state and asked: "Do you have any wealth?" I replied: "Yes." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "What kind of wealth?" I replied: "Allah has granted me all kinds of wealth, such as goats and camels, etc." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Then the effects of Allah's blessings and honor should be visible on you."
