Hadith 15870

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ ، عَنْ الشَّعْبِيِّ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ ، أَنَّهُ صَادَ أَرْنَبَيْنِ ، فَلَمْ يَجِدْ حَدِيدَةً يَذْبَحُهُمَا بِهَا ، فَذَبَحَهُمَا بِمَرْوَةٍ ، فَأَتَى رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، فَأَمَرَهُ " بِأَكْلِهِمَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Safwan that once he hunted two rabbits. At that time, he did not have any sharp iron instrument to slaughter them, so he slaughtered both of them with a sharp-edged stone and then presented himself before the Prophet (ﷺ). The Prophet (ﷺ) permitted him to eat them.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Safwan that once he hunted two rabbits.
