(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عِصَامُ بْنُ قُدَامَةَ الْبَجَلِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي مَالِكُ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ الْخُزَاعِيُّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ " قَاعِدٌ فِي الصَّلَاةِ قَدْ وَضَعَ ذِرَاعَهُ الْيُمْنَى عَلَى فَخِذِهِ الْيُمْنَى رَافِعًا بِأُصْبُعِهِ السَّبَّابَةِ قَدْ حَنَاهَا شَيْئًا وَهُوَ يَدْعُو " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Numeir Khuzai that once I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sitting and performing prayer. He had placed his right hand on his right thigh, his index finger was raised and slightly bent, and he was supplicating.
