(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ ، قَالَ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْحَقْلِ " . قَالَ الْحَكَمُ : وَالْحَقْلُ : الثُّلُثُ وَالرُّبُعُ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade "haql." The narrator explained the meaning of "haql" as giving land on sharecropping in exchange for a third or a quarter of the produce.
