(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، عَنْ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ حَنْظَلَةَ الزُّرَقِيِّ ، عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ ، أَنَّ " النَّاسَ كَانُوا يُكْرُونَ الْمَزَارِعَ فِي زَمَانِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْمَاذِيَانَاتِ وَمَا سَقَى الرَّبِيعُ وَشَيْئًا مِنَ التِّبْنِ ، فَكَرِهَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كِرَاءَ الْمَزَارِعِ بِهَذَا ، وَنَهَى عَنْهَا " . قَالَ رَافِعٌ : لَا بَأْسَ بِكِرَائِهَا بِالدَّرَاهِمِ وَالدَّنَانِيرِ .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) that in the blessed era of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), people used to lease cultivable land in exchange for vegetables, water channels, and some husk. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) did not consider it good to lease it in exchange for these things, so he forbade it. However, there is no harm in leasing it in exchange for dirhams or dinars.
