Once Abu Bakr went to Muhammad bin Umar bin Hakam and said, "O Abu Hafs, narrate to us a hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him) in which there is no difference of opinion." He replied, "Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated this hadith to me: The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: Whoever visits a sick person dives into the ocean of mercy, and when he sits by the patient, he is immersed in it. And it is hoped, insha'Allah, that you too have been immersed in mercy."
