(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ . وَإِسْحَاقَ , عَنْ سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْكَرِيمِ الْجَزَرِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " لَا تَجْمَعُوا اسْمِي وَكُنْيَتِي " .
It is narrated from the uncle of Abdur Rahman bin Abi Amrah that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Do not combine my name and my kunyah, so that a single person takes both my name and my kunyah.
