(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ حَكِيمٍ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَامِرُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنِّي أُحَرِّمُ مَا بَيْنَ لَابَتَيْ الْمَدِينَةِ ، أَنْ يُقْطَعَ عِضَاهُهَا ، أَوْ يُقْتَلَ صَيْدُهَا ، وَقَالَ : الْمَدِينَةُ خَيْرٌ لَهُمْ ، لَوْ كَانُوا يَعْلَمُونَ ، لَا يَخْرُجُ مِنْهَا أَحَدٌ رَغْبَةً عَنْهَا ، إِلَّا أَبْدَلَ اللَّهُ فِيهَا مَنْ هُوَ خَيْرٌ مِنْهُ ، وَلَا يَثْبُتُ أَحَدٌ عَلَى لَأْوَائِهَا وَجَهْدِهَا ، إِلَّا كُنْتُ لَهُ شَهِيدًا , أَوْ شَفِيعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: “I declare the area between the two boundaries of Madinah as a sanctuary (Haram), therefore no tree should be cut here, nor should any animal be hunted here.” And he said, “Madinah is the best place for people, if only they had certainty about it. If anyone leaves here out of dislike, Allah Almighty will settle someone better than him in his place. And whoever remains steadfast in facing the hardships and difficulties of this place, I will intercede for him on the Day of Resurrection.”
