(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ يَبْلُغُ بِهِ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ الْجِنَازَةَ ، فَقُومُوا لَهَا حَتَّى تُخَلِّفَكُمْ أَوْ تُوضَعَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Aamir that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you see a funeral procession and cannot accompany it, then stand up until it passes by or is placed on the ground.
