(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ , وَابْنُ بَكْرٍ , قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ نَافِعًا , يَقُولُ : كَانَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ يَأْثُرُ , عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ رَبِيعَةَ , أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ : قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِذَا رَأَى أَحَدُكُمْ الْجِنَازَةَ ، فَلْيَقُمْ حِينَ يَرَاهَا حَتَّى تُخَلِّفَهُ ، إِذَا كَانَ غَيْرَ مُتَّبِعِهَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Aamir that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you see a funeral procession and cannot accompany it, then stand up until it passes by or is placed on the ground.
