(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، عَنْ زَيْدٍ , عَنْ أَبِي سَلَّامٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي رَاشِدٍ الْحُبْرَانِيِّ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ شِبْلٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِنَّ التُّجَّارَ هُمْ الْفُجَّارُ " قَالَ رَجُلٌ : يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ , أَلَمْ يُحِلَّ اللَّهُ الْبَيْعَ ؟ قَالَ : " إِنَّهُمْ يَقُولُونَ فَيَكْذِبُونَ ، وَيَحْلِفُونَ وَيَأْثَمُونَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdur Rahman (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Most traders are sinful and wicked. Someone asked: O Messenger of Allah! Has Allah not made trade lawful? He replied: Why not, but when these people speak, they lie, and when they swear oaths, they become sinful.
