(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَبَّانُ , عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " لَأَنْ أُشَيِّعَ مُجَاهِدًا فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ فَأَكُفَّهُ عَلَى رَاحِلَةٍ غَدْوَةً أَوْ رَوْحَةً , أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا وَمَا فِيهَا " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'adh that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: To go in the morning or evening to see off a Mujahid in the way of Allah and to help him mount his ride is, in my view, better than the world and whatever is in it.
