(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا لَيْثٌ ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ ، عَنِ ابْنِ مُعَاذِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، وَكَانَتْ لَهُ صُحْبَةٌ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " ارْكَبُوا هَذِهِ الدَّوَابَّ سَالِمَةً وَابْتَدِعُوهَا سَالِمَةً ، وَلَا تَتَّخِذُوهَا كَرَاسِيَّ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'adh that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Ride animals when they are healthy and sound, and leave them in the same condition. Do not consider them as chairs for your conversations with each other in the roads and markets.
