(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو ، حَدَّثَنِي مُصْعَبُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ عَامِرِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ سَعْدِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : " كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُسَلِّمُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ ، وَعَنْ شِمَالِهِ ، حَتَّى يُرَى بَيَاضُ خَدَّيْهِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Sa’d bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) turned to the right side to say salam, his right cheek would be visible with its brightness, and when he turned to the left side to say salam, the whiteness of his left cheek would be seen.
