(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَرْحُومٍ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَنْ كَظَمَ غَيْظًا وَهُوَ قَادِرٌ عَلَى أَنْ يُنْفِذَهُ ، دَعَاهُ اللَّهُ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى عَلَى رُءُوسِ الْخَلَائِقِ , حَتَّى يُخَيِّرَهُ مِنْ أَيِّ الْحُورِ شَاءَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'adh that whoever restrains his anger while having the power to act upon it, Allah will call him before all of creation on the Day of Resurrection and give him the choice to select whichever houri he wishes.
