Hadith 1562

(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى يَعْنِي ابْنَ سَعِيدٍ الْأَنْصَارِيَّ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ ، يَقُولُ : سَمِعْتُ سَعْدًا , يَقُولُ : " جَمَعَ لِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَبَوَيْهِ يَوْمَ أُحُدٍ " .
Sayyiduna Sa’d (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that on the day of the Battle of Uhud, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) gathered his parents for me (that is, he said to me, “May my parents be sacrificed for you”).
