(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَبَّانُ , عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مَنْ بَنَى بُنْيَانًا مِنْ غَيْرِ ظُلْمٍ وَلَا اعْتِدَاءٍ ، أَوْ غَرَسَ غَرْسًا فِي غَيْرِ ظُلْمٍ وَلَا اعْتِدَاءٍ ، كَانَ لَهُ أَجْرٌ جَارٍ مَا انْتُفِعَ بِهِ مِنْ خَلْقِ اللَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Mu'adh that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Whoever builds a building in such a way that no one is wronged or harmed, or plants a tree so that no one is wronged or harmed, he will receive the reward of ongoing charity as long as the creation of Allah continues to benefit from it.
