(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ ، حَدَّثَنَا زَبَّانُ ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ , أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَهُ , فَقَالَ : أَيُّ الْجِهَادِ أَعْظَمُ أَجْرًا ؟ قَالَ : " أَكْثَرُهُمْ لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى ذِكْرًا " , قَالَ : فَأَيُّ الصَّائِمِينَ أَعْظَمُ أَجْرًا ؟ قَالَ : " أَكْثَرُهُمْ لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى ذِكْرًا " , ثُمَّ ذَكَرَ لَنَا الصَّلَاةَ ، وَالزَّكَاةَ ، وَالْحَجَّ ، وَالصَّدَقَةَ ، كُلُّ ذَلِكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ : " أَكْثَرُهُمْ لِلَّهِ تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى ذِكْرًا " , فَقَالَ أَبُو بَكْرٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ لِعُمَرَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى عَنْهُ : يَا أَبَا حَفْصٍ ، ذَهَبَ الذَّاكِرُونَ بِكُلِّ خَيْرٍ ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " أَجَلْ " .
It is narrated from Sayyidina Mu'adh bin Anas that a man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Which jihad has the greatest reward?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "The one in which Allah is remembered the most." The questioner asked: "Which fasting people have the greatest reward?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) replied: "Those who remember Allah the most." Then the mention of prayer, Hajj, and Zakat came, and each time the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one in which Allah is remembered the most." Upon this, Sayyidina Abu Bakr al-Siddiq and Sayyidina Umar began to say to each other: "O Abu Hafs, those who remember (Allah) have taken all the good." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes."
